Many lone parents have faced increased difficulties since the onset of COVID19 restrictions. Loss of employment, loss of educational opportunities, increased housing difficulties, food poverty, and loss of childcare places. In supporting lone parents, Treoir has participated, along with many other organisations working with lone parent families, in the joint submission to the Special Committee on COVID19 Response.
