Kinship Carers
Kinship Carers are adults who take on the full-time care of children when their own parents can no longer care for them. Kinship Carers could be Grandparents, Aunts or Uncles, Adult siblings, or family friends.

Kinship Care Ireland (KCI)
Treoir hosts a project, which specifically works with and for kinship families.
KCI aims to promote the recognition, rights, and entitlements of children, young people, and families in kinship care, through the provision of information, support, and advocacy for systems and legislative change.
